James Click

East Liverpool, Ohio – James D. “Jimmy Dale” Click, 76 of College Street died at home Friday evening January 18, 2013.

A lifetime area resident, he was born in Irondale, Ohio on October 12, 1936, son of the late James Russell and Thelma Johnson Click.

At one time, Jimmy Dale was manager of the New York Restaurant and an instructor at the Clark, Gilbert and Silverthorne Academy of Cosmetology. He was also a member of the US Army Reserves.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Victoria L. Sendling Click on January 21, 2001.

Survivors include two sons, James D. Click II and Jarrod D. Click and his wife, Stacy all of East Liverpool.

Four grandsons also survive, Cameron, Jayden, Tristin and Logan.

A sister, Rebecca Parker and her husband, Dave of New York, NY also survives.

Other survivors include his mother-in-law, Elizabeth “Betty” Sendling, a nephew, Charles “Chuck” Click and his wife Paula, two sisters- in law, Lisa Francis and her husband, Kevin and Jayne Bourne and her husband, Michael all of East Liverpool and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He will be greatly missed by his loving Chihuahua, Niko.

Two brothers preceded him in death, Donald Click and Charles “Nick” Click.

Services are planned for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2013at the Dawson Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Rose of Northside Community Church officiating. Friends may visit at the funeral home Monday where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.

Burial will take place in St. Elizabeth’s Cemetery, Wellsville.
