Grand Jury

LISBON — Charges have been filed against a Columbiana man charged with another man’s death in relation to a traffic accident. Dale Edward Dennison, 29, West Salem Street, Columbiana, was served with a secret indictment charged with vehicular homicide, failure to stop after an accident and tampering with evidence.

Dennison allegedly caused the death of Nicholas Paul Crookston while driving a 2009 Jeep Wrangler on Oct. 2. He then allegedly failed to stop after the accident. The indictment was issued by the grand jury in May.

Ronald D. Green, 35, Cleveland, was served a secret indictment charged with possession of drugs for allegedly having carfentanil on Oct. 24, 2017. The indictment was issued by the grand jury in June of 2018.

Kristopher Todd Elsass, 59, North Jefferson Street, Lisbon, was served a secret indictment charged with possession of cocaine for allegedly having the substance on Feb. 28. The indictment was issued by the grand jury in May.

Charles Michael Butler, 45, Youngstown, was served a secret indictment charged with aggravated possession of drugs. On May 25, Butler allegedly had oxycodone. The indictment was issued in May.

Jay Thomas Troyer, 25, McCracken Road, Salem, was served a secret indictment charged with possession of cocaine for allegedly having the substance on Oct. 30. The indictment was issued by the grand jury in March.
