Highway Patrol

— Dylan W. Klass, 23, Beloit, was eastbound on Georgetown Road in Knox Township at 9:51 p.m. Tuesday and went off the left side into a tree and overturned. He was cited for failure to control.

— Tyler W. Reynolds, 18, East Palestine, was northbound on Hunston Road in Unity Township at 1:54 p.m. Friday and went left of center off the left side into a planter, a guardrail and a ditch and overturned. He was cited for failure to control and taken to the Salem hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

— Aaron Christian Peterson, 38, Leetonia, was northbound on state Route 164 in Fairfield Township at 7:39 a.m. Saturday and hit a deer and went off the right side into a street sign and a ditch. No citations were issued.

— Karie Anne Koenitzer, 19, Carrollton, was southbound on state Route 9 in Hanover Township at 1:30 a.m. Saturday and went off the left side into a rock and a house. She was cited for failure to control.

— James Cook, 69, Salem, and Joshua Jones, 31, Salem, were eastbound on state Route 14 in Unity Township at 9:08 a.m. Friday and Jones was passing another vehicle and struck Cook from behind as Cook slowed to turn into a private drive. Jones was cited for assured clear distance.

— Zayra Aime Cuellar, 20, Massillon, was eastbound on Buck Road in Knox Township at 2:02 p.m. Friday when another vehicle pulled from a stop sign into her path causing her to go off the east side into a ditch. The other vehicle continued on.

— Seth M. Bradford, 23, Salineville, was southbound on Fife Coal Road in Yellow Creek Township at 6:07 a.m. Friday and went off the left side into a tree. He was cited for failure to control.

— Larry Dean Ellis, 33, Doylestown, was southbound on state Route 11 in Fairfield Township at 6:01 p.m. Thursday and went off the right side into a ditch. He was cited for failure to control.

— Merna J. Baker, 41, Salineville, was northbound on state Route 644 in Franklin Township at 1:17 p.m. Friday and went left of center off the left side into a guardrail. She was cited for failure to control.

County Sheriff

— U.S. Pipeline LLC, Yellow Creek Church Road, Franklin Township, reported at 10:46 a.m. Thursday an ATV was stolen during the night.

— A Stump Road, West Township, man reported at 11:57 p.m. Friday people keep driving past his home in what appears to be an SUV and were doing donuts in the field and burnouts in the road, and he also could hear gunshots.

— Deputies were called to a home on Center Avenue in Center Township at 1:01 a.m. Sunday for a report of a domestic dispute between Crystal Holloway and Michael Reynolds. Both told deputies they were going to bed for the night.

East Liverpool

— Lacey Ramsey reported at 9:48 p.m. Thursday she saw someone enter a home on Ohio Avenue that should be vacant. Police checked and did not find anyone inside the home and made sure it was secured.

— Police took a follow-up report at 10:21 p.m. Thursday on Grant Street of a hit-and-run that took place earlier. A private property crash report was completed.

— A Giant Eagle employee reported at 4:18 p.m. Friday a man wearing khaki pants and a backpack left their store and they believed he had stolen some type of alcohol. Police were unable to find the man.

— Dave Kennedy, Moore Street, reported at 4:09 p.m. Thursday sometime around 9 p.m. the night before he saw someone messing around out by his car and he went on to confront them and they ended up getting into a physical altercation and he alleged they both beat each other with tire irons. Kennedy described the man to police as a roughly 30-year-old black man that weighed 150 pounds and was 5’7″ tall.

— Police recovered an officer body camera at the scene of a crash on Anderson Boulevard at 12:46 a.m. Wednesday that was ran over by an emergency response vehicle and was heavily damaged.

Salem

— Police responded to the 300 block of East Second Street at 5:18 p.m. Saturday for an unattended GM Envoy that was running since 9 a.m. An officer turned it off and placed the key in a drop box at the body shop with a note.

— At 5:36 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 200 block of Vine Avenue for a suspicious man wearing a ski mask and gloves. He was located on the porch and he did not have a ski mask, but had a handkerchief around his neck and said he did have it on his face. An officer detected an odor of marijuana and with a consent-search located multiple drug paraphernalia items and two small baggies with crushed pills inside. On his person, a concealed and loaded BB gun with a magazine inserted was found, along with a S&W expandable baton and three knives in a sheath. He advised he was having chest pains and firefighters and an ambulance responded and he was taken to the hospital. David E. Boggs, 228 Vine Ave., no. 12, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed weapon, and transported to the county jail. Additional charges are pending test results on the pills. Police also seized a wooden box and will seek a search warrant to see the contents.

— At 6:10 p.m. Saturday, police took a complaint on station regarding a child custody issue and the complainant was advised to contact an attorney.

— Police responded to the 300 block of West 8th Street at 10:40 p.m. Saturday for a report of a male subject with a self-inflicted gun shot wound to the head. After police cleared the home, EMS personnel found the deceased man and police established a secure crime scene. The detective bureau and Columbiana County coroner responded and the deceased was transported to a funeral home. The case is under investigation by the detective bureau and the coroner.

— At 2:20 a.m. Sunday, police responded to the 1100 block of Liberty Street regarding a noise complaint and assisted Perry Township police while it advised the resident to turn the noise down.

— Police responded to the 200 block of South Ellsworth Avenue at 1:50 p.m. Friday regarding an illegal dumping. The complainant obtained a vehicle registration and the owner said one of his grandchildren may have been using the vehicle, but he didn’t know which one. A investigation is pending.

­– At 12:44 p.m. Saturday, police responded to the 1900 block of Oak Street where the complainant was having trouble with a former tenant and asked for extra watch for the next few days.

— At 12:50 p.m. Saturday, police responded to East State where a vehicle drove through freshly-poured cement at the Murphy station. The owner of the cement company said they just finished the job when a minivan drove through leaving ruts. He said they would attempt to patch it but it probably won’t stick and will come apart and the cement will have to be repoured. The minivan driver did not realize they just poured cement. Photos were taken and all the people were issued a report number.

— At 1:13 p.m. Saturday, police heard a complaint from a resident in the 800 block of East Sixth Street who rented an item from Rent-A-Center and gave it to another subject. The complainant advised that he needed to return it back to the company and the person wouldn’t return it to the complainant. The report will be forwarded to the county prosecutor for review.
