County Sheriff

— Nancy Anderson, Sunrise Drive, Lisbon, reported at 5:23 p.m. Sunday the neighbor children were riding an ATV through her yard, up and down the road and throwing gravel everywhere. Deputies warned the owner of the ATV that if anyone is caught riding it on the roadway they would be cited and the ATV would be towed.

— Christina Bowser, Church Hill Road, Lisbon, reported at 9:48 p.m. Sunday a neighbor, Edward Hough, came to her home and knocked on her door. Deputies went to Hough’s home and told him to stay off Bower’s property or he would be arrested. Additionally, he was warned not to leave the house because he had been drinking.

— A disabled vehicle was reported in the area of Steubenville Pike and Grant Street at 9:31 p.m. Sunday. The owner of the vehicle said it would not run and he had someone coming with a trailer to haul the vehicle. Deputies made sure the vehicle was off the roadway.

— Jennifer Coffield of Alliance reported at 1:56 a.m. Sunday her ex-husband, Wayne Coffield, South Bandy Road, Knox Township, called her and said his girlfriend, Dawn Ludwig, assaulted him and he was in the driveway now. Deputies spoke to both Wayne Coffield and Ludwig, who both signed refusals to prosecute.

— Paul Katona, Timber Run Street, Unity Township, reported at 4:55 p.m. Thursday a number keeps calling him phone and he was worried they may know personal information about him. Deputies told him the report would be on file and told him not to answer phone calls from numbers he does not know.

— Laura Sackin, Heck Road, Fairfield Township, reported at 4:25 p.m. Friday she believed someone was inside her home. Her dog started barking and she heard a noise in her basement. Deputies checked the home, but did not find anyone.

— A Mick Road resident reported at 7:42 p.m. Friday people got out of a truck, started fighting and then left. Deputies told her to call back if they return.

— A Coffee School Road man reported at 3:21 p.m. Friday, Carl Poynter, who appeared intoxicated, keeps coming around his neighborhood and onto people’s property. Poynter had left and deputies told him to call if he returns.

— The Guilford Lake Grille, East Lake Road, reported at 10:50 p.m. Thursday an intoxicated man refused to leave and was harassing customers. Deputies found Ron Jenkins, who just wanted a ride home. Deputies gave him one.

— Harley D. Shaw, Dyke Road, Middleton Township, reported at 12:24 a.m. Monday her boyfriend, Chad Lutz, backed into her vehicle, damaging the bumper and then took off down the driveway. A criminal damaging warrant was issued for Chad P. Lutz.


— Police responded to a fight outside the Circle K at 12:27 a.m. Sunday. Disorderly conduct charges are being filed against Jerry L. House, 46, Logtown Road, Lisbon, and Mason A. Taylor, 18, Oakmont Avenue, East Liverpool, after authorities were unable to determine who was the aggressor.

— A caller reported a suspicious person was walking on Sherman Street at 1:50 a.m. Wednesday and staring at a particular house. The caller knew the young man, who was seen driving a red Dodge Ram 1500. Police were unable to locate the truck.

— A caller reported a man across the street from the Steel Trolley Diner was harassing people for a ride at10 p.m. Saturday. Police arrived and spoke to Richard Vecchio, who said was trying to find a taxi. Police gave him a ride home instead.

— Tammy L. Briceland reportedly backed into a vehicle operated by Logan Malik in the swimming pool parking lot at 7:51 p.m. Sunday.


— Police responded to a private property crash on West County Line Road at 1:25 p.m. Saturday. It was found that an unknown vehicle struck the parked unoccupied vehicle operated by Marla Seeger of Petersburg while it was at the Family Dollar.

— Police assisted EMS with dealing with a deceased person who passed of natural causes at a home on Columbiana Lisbon Road at 2:35 p.m. Saturday.

— Amanda Scott, North Bayshore Drive, consulted with police at 9:07 p.m. Saturday about being harassed on social media.

— Elizabeth Morris, 26, East Palestine, was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop on state Route 14 at 4:42 p.m. Friday.

— A woman reported at 5:18 p.m. Friday she found a small amount of suspected marijuana in a parking lot on West Salem Street. Police recovered the suspected marijuana for proper disposal.

— Diana Adams, 40, East Liverpool, was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop on state Route 14 at 6:07 p.m. Friday.

— Police responded to a complaint at the Firestone pool at 6:42 p.m. Friday for a report from a woman who said her juvenile daughter was being harassed.

— Wei G. Tan, address not listed, reported at 9:43 p.m. Friday someone harassed her over the telephone at the Chang Tai Restaurant.

— Jessica Wynn, Salineville, was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop on North Main Street at 5:11 p.m. Thursday.

— Jamie Dattilio, Hawkins Lane, wished to file a protection order violation at 11:49 a.m. Thursday for incidents that occurred on July 4 and July 5.

East Liverpool

— Heather Ponziani reported at 12:10 p.m. Sunday someone broke into her mother’s vehicle during the night while it was parked at the Social Security building parking lot on Michigan Street. Nothing was reported missing from the vehicle.

St. Clair Township

— Jeffery W. Hall, 69, Bayshore Drive, Columbiana, was southbound on East Liverpool Road at 4:30 p.m. Friday and went through the red light at the state Route 11 southbound off ramp to state Route 170 and struck Taylor Stevens, 24, McCormick Run Road, Lisbon, who was making a left turn onto East Liverpool Road. After impact, Stevens’ vehicle was pushed into a vehicle driven by Kenneth L. Delposen, 79, Old Fredericktown Road, East Liverpool, who was stopped at the light on East Liverpool Road. Hall was taken to the East Liverpool hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No citations were issued.
