East Liverpool

— Breanna J. Reed, 24, Wilbert Avenue, reported that David C. Cole, 33, Washington Street, Wellsville, began yelling at her over tax returns and wanting money. She told officers he became irate and began throwing things, then punched her, knocking her down. Reed ran to a neighbor’s for help, and the officers reported he threatened the neighbors for helping her. Officers reported they learned through the dispatcher that Cole had several outstanding warrants and was considered armed and dangerous, and a warrant was issued for his arrest for domestic violence. He was also to be issued a trespass notice for Columbiana-Metropolitan Housing Authority properties. Reed’s children, ages 1, 2 and 4 years old, were present during the incident, according to reports. She was taken by ambulance to the hospital for a possible broken nose.

— While eastbound on state Route 39 toward Mulberry Street, Joshua S. Rinestine, 26, Highland Street, lost control of his vehicle, swerving to the right into the concrete barrier. The vehicle flipped onto its roof and slid about 50 feet before stopping. He was cited with failure to control.

St. Clair Township

— Stacey A. Howell, 49, no address listed, reported a bullying incident at Beaver Local School. No other details were reported.

— Joshua Justice, 26, no address listed, reported that while he was working for AEP, installing new meters, he accidentally went down the wrong driveway and a woman with a shotgun chased him up the driveway. Officers went to the address and spoke with the woman, Mary Simon, who said she followed the vehicle up her driveway but at no time did she have a weapon. She was advised Justice had apologized for accidentally turning in her driveway.

— Christopher Pate, 37, Summerset Drive, reported he went for a walk and returned home to find his truck, which was parked in the garage, had a window busted out, with pry marks on the driver’s side door.

— A man not identified in reports reported his son assaulted by his aunt at the Beaver Local High School boys’ basketball game. No other details were reported.

— Officers conducted a “knock and talk” at the Quality Inn on St. Clair Avenue, where they found Javon Wesley, 22, had an outstanding warrant. He was transported to county jail.

Goshen Police District

— Teresa M. Burkhart, 24, Alliance, was cited for abandonment of a junk motor vehicle Tuesday after she attempted to obtain the release of a vehicle that had been towed from Beloit Park on Fifth Street Monday afternoon. The vehicle had reportedly been parked at the park for several months and Burkhart had been warned in December to remove the vehicle.
