— Danielle Deal, address not listed, reported at 1:26 p.m. Friday her soon-to-be ex was sending threatening text messages after being repeatedly told to stop.

— A man reported at 10:15 p.m. Friday someone drove a Sunfire type vehicle into the Wayside Lawn Structures parking lot and turned the vehicle’s lights off and was driving around the lot. Police checked but did not find the vehicle.

— Kim Johnson, South Main Street, reported at 12:25 p.m. Thursday she received a fraudulent or scam check.

— A man reported at 1:28 p.m. Thursday a semi lost part of its load of steel in the area of state Routes 7 and 14.

— Abby Hertel, North Elm Street, reported at 3:34 p.m. Thursday a man was walking on North Elm Street taking pictures of the neighbor’s house and then of her and her dog when she went outside. Police checked but did not see the man.

— A man reported at 11:15 p.m. Thursday loud music was coming from an apartment on Camelot Drive. Police warned Kelly Fryer of the complaint.
