Plans in the works for Hanover Homecoming
HANOVERTON — Plans are underway for the annual Hanover Homecoming to be held July 13 on historic Plymouth Street.
This year’s event will feature vendors, a children’s penny a vote pageant, entertainment, a photography contest, firemen’s parade, activities for the children and an evening ghost walk.
New this year will be a Bier Garden sponsored by the Spread Eagle Tavern. Chef Keith will also have featured food items available.
Organizers also would like to hold a Hanover has talent contest if there is enough interest.
The winners of the pageant, which will be announced at noon, will get to ride in the parade at 2 p.m.. The photography contest entries will be displayed in the Presbyterian Church where women of the church will hold a bake sale.
Children’s activities will be held in Pelley Park where an inflatable obstacle course will be available. The fire department will again have their dunk tank.
Other activities are still being planned.
Vendor spots are still available. Non-profit organizations or school clubs are welcome to participate.
