The Salem Fire Department hosted the county Career and Technical Center Firefighter I Class Saturday. Salem fire inspector Brandon Lucas, who is also an instructor at the CCCTC, instructed 13 students in a review of tying knots and hoisting. The students received credit for the class. Lucas is a seven-year veteran of the Salem Fire Department.
