Woman’s death investigated
SALEM–The body of a deceased woman found at a city home Friday afternoon has been sent for positive identification.
Salem police are working with the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Columbiana County Coroner’s Office to investigate the death of a woman found at a South Lincoln Avenue home at around 4 p.m. Friday. The body has been sent to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner to determine the positive identification.
Police are not releasing the name of the deceased until the positive identification is determined, according to Salem Detective Dave Talbert.
According to news partner WKBN TV-27, family members of the deceased responded to her home because they were worried about her and found her deceased.
