Summer food program offered

A summer food program will be held for children from June 4 through Aug. 27. Meals will be provided five days a week in various locations in East Liverpool, Lisbon, Salineville, Toronto and Wellsville. The program is free for children. Take a chance at St. Paul School

St. Paul School will hold a “Night of Chances” from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday in Scullion Hall. The event is being held to help support pre-K through eighth grade programming and will feature a reverse raffle, 50/50 and diamond drop as well as other games and food. Admission for those over 21 years old is $20 and includes a reverse raffle ticket and food. Other games will require separate buy-ins and there will also be a cash bar. First Friday block party planned

The Columbiana Area Chamber of Commerce will host “First Friday Block Parties” beginning at 5 p.m. June 1 on South Main Street. This event will feature a car show, a remote control car race for children and adults, entertainment, merchant specials and food. Performing artists, vendors and direct sales representatives are also being sought. Other dates for the “First Friday Block Parties” are July 6 and Aug. 3. Free meal program at Edison

Edison Local Schools, in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, will offer a free meal program, Seamless Summer Option, beginning June 4 and running through Aug. 17 at the high school. Children age 18 and under are eligible for the free lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.
