This vehicle driven by Darlene Snyder, 72, Price Street Extension, East Liverpool, was one of three involved in a crash Monday afternoon at the intersection of Dresden Avenue and the state Route 11 exit ramp near Walmart. According to St. Clair Township Police, Snyder’ vehicle was southbound at the traffic signal when she got the green arrow and proceeded to turn left as Seana R. Robinson, 31, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, came north on Dresden Avenue through the red light, striking Snyder’s vehicle head-on with her van. Robinson’s van then struck a vehicle driven by Tori L. Jackson, Broadway Avenue, Wellsville, who was at the red light coming from the Walmart parking lot. The impact spun Snyder’s vehicle completely around, police reported. Robinson and her passenger, Jodie L. Wright, 35, Wilbert Avenue, and Snyder, were all taken by ambulance to the hospital, with officers saying none of the six children in Robinson’s van were injured. Robinson was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device. Lifeteam, North Star and KLG ambulances responded, while firefighters from Calcutta and Glenmoor directed traffic and cleared debris from the wreckage. Calcutta Towing removed all three vehicles from the scene.
