Wellsville man gets 4 years on sex charge
LISBON — Christopher Osborne, 37, Commerce Street, Wellsville, was sentenced in Common Pleas Court to four years in prison for two counts of gross sexual imposition.
Osborne will be required to register as a Tier II sex offender with a duty to register his residence every 180 days for 25 years.
Osborne had pleaded guilty in September to prosecutor’s information, which stated he had sexual contact with two children less than 13 years old in February 2016. Before Osborne was sentenced his parents and a family friend made a statement on his behalf.
Assistant County Prosecutor Timothy McNicol asked Judge C. Ashley Pike to consider a seven-year prison term.
