Highway patrol Sgt. Craig Monte talks with Darlene Ingledue after she wrecked at the intersection of Gamble and Sell roads in Center Township Tuesday evening. Ingledue, 44, of Salem was driving the car that caught fire. She told Monte the accelerator stuck and the brakes locked up as she approached the intersection, sending them into the field where the car caught fire. The fire was extinguished by Lisbon firefighters. Ingledue had three male passengers with her, her son Ted Ingledue, Gary Waite and Nathan Winn. Waite and Winn, with non-life threatening injuries, were transported to the hospital by private vehicle to the hospital. Trooper Neil Everett of the Lisbon post is continuing the investigation. Ingledue was cited for failure to control.
