Ben McCormick of Leetonia brought his 1940 Chevrolet Special Deluxe to the Columbiana Nazarene Church’s car-truck-bike cruise on Tuesday. The 1940 Chevy is all original except for the battery and still sports the capital A gasoline rationing sticker on the windshield from the days of World War II. According to Wikipedia, the A sticker entitled the owner to get 3-4 gallons of gasoline per week. McCormick said his car gets about 18.5 miles per gallon and can easily go 60-70 mph with it 6-cylinder engine. He has owned the car for five years.
