Highway patrol Sgt. Craig Monte and trooper Kevin Thompson investigate a single vehicle rollover crash Wednesday on state Route 7 that claimed the life of a 43-year-old Rogers man, Jack E. Artrup, and injured his passenger, Pamela S. Bradds, 45, also of Rogers. The patrol said the vehicle was northbound when it went off the right side of the road just north of the Middle Beaver Road intersection shortly before 6 p.m. The car struck a guardrail, continued through the weeds and then cut back up the embankment and across the road, striking some trees and overturning. Artrup was pronounced dead at the scene. Bradds was flown by LifeFlight helicopter to Allegheny General in Pittsburgh. Lisbon firefighters and Tri-County Ambulance responded to the scene, and West Point firefighters set up the landing zone. Lisbon firefighter Kurt Gresh is also shown in this photo.
