LISBON — In county Municipal Court, Luther Ford, 44, last known address West Main Street, Salineville, was bound over to the grand jury on a charge of failure to verify a change of address. Ford, allegedly a Tier III sexual offender, was not living at the Salineville address he had given deputies on Oct. 22, when deputies returned on Jan. 8.

A Feb. 11 preliminary hearing was set for Johnathon M. Weaver, 31, Sprucevale Road, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence for allegedly assaulting his wife, Angela M. Weaver, who he knew to be eight-weeks pregnant on Oct. 21.

Jeffrey N. James, 39, Seventh Avenue Lacroft, East Liverpool, was fined $900, sentenced to 50 days in jail, had his license suspended for three years and required 30 hours community service for OVI second offense and failure to control.

Bobby L. Armstead, 35, Fair Avenue, Salem, was credited with three days in jail, sentenced to an additional 27 days in jail, fined $300 and required 20 hours community service for resisting arrest and two counts of obstructing official business. On Feb. 9, 2018, Armstead allegedly fled first from Deputy Willie Coleman and then from Sheriff Ray Stone, grabbing Stone’s jacket and wrestling with him before he was tazed. Prior to that on Jan. 9, 2018, Armstead wriggled out of the jacket he was wearing and fled through the field and woods from Deputy Wes Smith.

A March 26 pretrial was set for John G. Barnhart, 52, Clark Avenue, Wellsville, charged with OVI and failure to control.

A March 25 pretrial was set for Rosanna Byler, 28, Millrock Road, New Waterford, charged with domestic violence for allegedly threatening to shoot her husband, Melvin Byler, and then when she was unable to unlock the gun cabinet, she reportedly began to hit him in the back of the head with a muck boot on Jan. 29.

A Feb. 11 pretrial was set for Nicholas D. Gonda, 24, Cedar Ridge Drive, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly striking his live-in girlfriend, Autumn Cope, on Sunday, leaving her with visible injuries to her face and neck.

Thomas D. Pitts, 36, Foundry Hill Road, Hanoverton, was fined $350 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension and left of center. A possession of marijuana citation was dismissed.

A Feb. 11 pretrial was set for Brandie N. Poynter, 25, West Fourth Street, Salem, cited with violating a temporary protection order for allegedly attempting to contact Taira Scullion by telephone and through third parties on Saturday.

A March 5 pretrial was set for Mary E. Freeland, 49, state Route 9, Kensington, and her fiance, Jeremy G. Wilson, 49, state Route 9, Kensington, both charged with theft for allegedly attempting to shoplift items from the Salem Walmart. Wilson allegedly placed a bottle of Dove Body Wash behind his back and into a bag without scanning it and three movies were witnessed not scanned. Upon investigating it reportedly was determined 26 items totaling about $75 were not scanned, while 24 more items were scanned on Saturday.

A March 28 pretrial was set for Jack T. Barrett, 32, Old Fredericktown Road, East Liverpool, charged with theft for allegedly failing to scan $26 in merchandise at the Salem Walmart on Saturday.

Bryan William White, 53, West Martin Street, East Palestine, was fined $205 for driving under suspension, seat belt and left of center.

Erik J. Salcedo, 29, Pearl Street, Leetonia, was fined $150 and required 10 hours community service for driving under suspension.

A disorderly conduct charge against Carl B. McDevitt, 79, 10th Street, Wellsville, was dismissed due to the defendant’s name being incorrect, leading to the father being cited instead of a younger relative.

A March 21 pretrial was set for Lane R. Donnalley, 20, Millrock Road, New Waterford, cited with driving under suspension and a tail lights violation.

A March 19 pretrial was set for Paul Kepp, 36, North Main Street, Columbiana, cited with driving under suspension.

An April 9 pretrial was set for Nicholas J. Myers, 19, New Galilee, Pa., cited with discarding litter after he allegedly emptied a large amount of food wrappers, plastic bottles, miscellaneous paper and magazines from his truck on Jan. 1, leaving the items on the baseball field on the hill in East Palestine Park.

A March 19 pretrial was set for Andrew Thomas McRae, 33, West High Street, Alliance, cited with failure to control.

A Feb. 15 pretrial was set for Sydney Ann Skuse, 19, Polk, Pa., cited with possession or use of a controlled substance for allegedly having hashish oil.

An April 4 pretrial was set for Leanna N. Skiba, 24, McCann Road, East Rochester, cited with driving under FRA suspension and traffic control device.

Tracy L. Shaffer, 52, Lincoln Street Southeast, Minerva, was fined $100 for open container.

A March 19 pretrial was set for Madison C. Brown, 18, U.S. Route 30, Lisbon, cited with failure to stop for a stopped school bus.

Tammy F. Kent, 40, Day Road, Lisbon, was fined $50 for illegal plate.
