LISBON — In Common Pleas Court, James R. Wilson, 22, East Main Street, East Palestine, was found eligible for intervention in lieu of conviction and was placed on a three-year plan. He pleaded guilty to breaking and entering and eight counts of theft.
Wilson had trespassed in the garage of Richard Arcaro, West North Avenue, East Palestine on Dec. 30, 2017 and took from a vehicle an iPhone and Las Vegas stocking cap belonging to Arcaro. He also broke into other vehicles and stole 17 Marathon gas cards belonging to Christa Burnette; an iPod belonging to Mark McTrusty; a folding blade knife, a fixed blade knife and a pack of Eagle cigarettes belonging to Zach Dubbert; seven packs of Marlboro cigarettes belonging to Cindy Beauregard; coins belonging to Heidi Gorby; a flashlight and miscellaneous coins belonging to Kelly Lester; and coins belonging to Joe Helpy.
Leonard B. Coursin, 67, Henry Avenue, East Liverpool, stipulated to violating the terms of his probation and his probation was dishonorably terminated. Coursin was on the community control after he pleaded guilty in April 2015 to breaking and entering and having weapons while under a disability during an incident in January 2014.
Rameon J. Sumlin, 28, Needham Street, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to possession of drugs for having crack cocaine on Nov. 21, 2017. He is facing up to a year in prison, a six-month license suspension and a $2,500 fine for this case. Sentencing for this and two other cases is set for Aug. 20.
