LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, an Aug. 14 pretrial was set for Larry W. Armes Jr., 29, South Egypt Road, Salem, charged with discharge of a firearm on or over a public road or highway. On May 17, 2018, Armes allegedly shot his 9-millimeter handgun five times in the direction of Ashley L. McQuiston’s driveway, damaging her vehicle and house.

An Aug. 9 pretrial was set for Christopher T. White, 28, South Beaver Street, Lisbon, charged with domestic violence and obstructing official business. White allegedly harmed his sister, Jennifer White, causing a small cut on her elbow. White additionally allegedly hindered police and North Star Ambulance from entering by refusing to answer the door. The obstructing official business charge has been amended from a felony to a second-degree misdemeanor.
