LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Anthony J. Antonas, 37, Latta Road, East Palestine, was bound over to the Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury on a domestic violence charge. Antonas allegedly assaulted his live-in girlfriend Cheyenne Cooper on April 11. A July 3 pretrial was set for Antonas, who is also cited with OVI first offense, obstructing official business, open container and left of center from a traffic stop on May 6, during which he was tased after he was reportedly not listening to the orders of the State Highway Patrol trooper.

A May 24 preliminary hearing and pretrial was set for David Wayne Phillis, 60, Beaver Falls, Pa., charged with a felony of improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle and a misdemeanor charges of impersonating a peace officer and failure to yield. While the Ohio State Highway Patrol was investigating a traffic accident, which the defendant was involved in, Phillis reportedly claimed to be a retired Pennsylvania police officer, had a loaded firearm in his pants and was still carrying a badge.

A May 21 pretrial was set for John W. Smith III, 29, West Wilson Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly grabbing the 8-year-old daughter of his wife by the arms and throwing her on April 17.

A June 26 pretrial was set for Brianna Lynne Beaudoin, 33, Vale Road, Rogers, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly giving a State Highway Patrol trooper false information about who was driving her vehicle when it crashed into another vehicle on state Route 7 and then left the scene.

Elliott P. McMurray, 27, Court Street, Columbiana, was fined $550, required 40 hours community service and sentenced to three days in jail for assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence. McMurray struck Sarah Kohoman at the the Eagles Bar in Leetonia on Nov. 23, kicked the cruiser door to keep police from closing it and shoulder checked police.

Duallen J. Stanford, 25, state Route 170, Negley, was fined $400 for driving under suspension.

Francisco Perez, 45, Winona Road, Salem, was fined $300, had his license suspended for 180 days and required 30 hours community service for failure to stop after an accident and failure to yield. A restitution hearing was set for July 23.

Joshua J. Daniels, 31, Toledo, was fined $300 for possession of marijuana, driving under suspension and restricted tinted glass.

Alyssa Marie Dimuzio, 22, Benton Road, Salem, was fined $250, credited with 10 days in jail and sentenced to an additional 80 days for driving under suspension and possession of a drug abuse instrument for a hypodermic needle in her purse on Feb. 3.

Nickole M. Hoschar, 26, Bye Road, East Palestine, was fined $150 credited with three days served and sentenced to an additional 20 days for obstructing official business for giving Salem police a false name during a traffic stop on March 28.

Cynthia L. Masters, 42, Buck Road, Beloit, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for punching her 14-year-old daughter on Aug. 15, 2017. Masters was credited with three days in jail.

Kyle M. McCauley, 28, Akron, and Tanner C. Harvey, 22, Ravenna, were each fined $150, credited with eight days served in jail and required 25 hours community service for falsification for both claiming there was not in a traffic crash on state Route 14 and U.S. Route 62 on May 6 when Perry Township police found them walking along Allen Road.

Shelley L. Hernandez, 45, West Washington Street, Lisbon, was fined $330 and required 20 hours community service for a seat belt violation and two counts of driving under suspension.

Devon M. Ream, 22, Riffle Road, Rogers, was fined $150 and required 25 hours community service for driving under suspension.

A June 28 pretrial was set for Ricky D. Hickman, 59, state Route 172, Lisbon, charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly threatening deputies while they and EMS were in his home to help his daughter. Hickman also was fined $40 for marked lanes.

A July 17 pretrial was set for Justin D. Adams, 30, state Route 14, East Palestine, cited with possession of instruments to ingest/inhale controlled substances.

A July 9 pretrial was set for Brittany Hacker, 24, Jimtown Road, East Palestine, cited with driving under suspension.

A July 3 pretrial was set for Lonnie Ray Miller, 22, Mechanicstown, cited with driving under a non-compliance suspension.

A July 19 pretrial was set for Samantha L. Crawford, 31, West Main Street, Salineville, cited with failure to reinstate a license and speeding.

Wesley P. Lipscomb, 32, Franklin Square Road, Leetonia, waived extradition so he can be returned to Pennsylvania where he is reportedly facing a parole violation.

Karen L. Grimm, 52, New Philadelphia, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding.

John Santino Magistro, 61, Harveys Lake, Pa., was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from left of center.

A citation of use of an unauthorized plate against Lola M. Finley, 34, East Fourth Street, Salem, was dismissed.
