LISBON — A May 24 preliminary hearing was set in Columbiana County Municipal Court for Ricky Menough, 58, West Perry Street, Salem, charged with burglary for allegedly breaking open the screen door at a neighbor’s home and going inside the home while someone was bathing on Tuesday.

A May 24 preliminary hearing was set for Dale L. Lowe, 27, Unity Road, New Springfield, charged with breaking and entering for allegedly going to the Swift Mart on state Route 14 in Unity Township along with others on Monday, breaking out a window to the business and taking cartons of cigarettes.

A May 24 pretrial was set for James L. Ingledue, 50, North Lincoln Avenue, Salem, charged with assault for allegedly beating Richard Parrish in the head in front of several children on April 21.

A May 24 pretrial was set for Steven Goodman, 36, East Fourth Street, Salem, charged with menacing for allegedly telling Brenda L. Carder he was going to kill her and he was going to break her and her grandson’s necks on April 11.

Kelsey J. Shaver, 24, Malvern, pleaded no contest to three counts of theft and a sentencing hearing was set for May 24. Video surveillance at the Duke and Duchess, U.S. Route 62, Alliance, shows Shaver, an employee of the store, stealing lottery tickets without paying for them on Nov. 20, Nov. 23 and Nov. 28. Along with another employee, the two reportedly stole $58 worth of lottery tickets during about one week in November.

A July 19 pretrial was set for Frank A. Lutes III, 34, Weaver Road, East Rochester, cited with OVI first offense and left of center.

A June 11 pretrial was set for Tricia A. Watson, 34, Jones Drive, Salem, cited with criminal trespassing for allegedly being on the property of Kimberly Kisner on March 28 and did not leave when asked to do so.

A July 10 pretrial was set for Heather J. Everhart, 26, state Route 164, Salineville, charged with theft for allegedly shoplifting $119 worth of food items at Walmart in Salem on April 7.

Ronda J. Figley, 45, Park Avenue, East Palestine, was credited with three days served in jail, fined $25 and required 60 hours community service for furnishing alcohol to underaged persons. Citations for contributing to the unruliness of a child and offenses involving underaged persons were dismissed. On April 3, Figley had purchased six Four Loko alcoholic beverages from Circle K and allowed children to consume them inside her home.

Christopher Austin Alexandar Asher, 20, Market Street, Salineville,was fined $1,050 and required 25 hours community service for use of an unauthorized plate and driving under suspension.

A July 19 pretrial was set for Jason D. Moffatt, 31, Warren, cited with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia for a metal pipe.

A July 19 pretrial was set for Jennifer N. Whaley, 37, Maplewood Drive, Columbiana, charged with driving under FRA suspension.

Eugene C. Striffler, 26, Egypt Road, Salem, was fined $250 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension.

Justin J. Novak, 36, Columbia Street, Salem, was fined $250 and required 60 hours community service for aggravated menacing. Novak threatened to shoot David Fisher and said he would be back to kill him later on Oct. 8. Novak was further ordered to have no contact with Fisher or his household members.

A June 5 pretrial was set for Bethany A. Uptegraph, 19, Liberty Street, Salem, cited with OVI first offense, OVI controlled substance, driving under suspension, a stop sign violation and possession of marijuana.

Zachary S. Daniels, 25, East State Street, Salem, was fined $150 for possession of marijuana.

Nicholas Liversage, 22, Calla Road, Poland, was fined $150 for possession of marijuana paraphernalia.

Breanna Noel Shreve, 20, Broadway, Wellsville, was fined $330 and required 25 hours community service for expired registration, driving under suspension and a seat belt violation.

A driving under suspension citation against Edward Berresford, 28, Woodale Road, Hanoverton, was dismissed.

A May 22 pretrial was set for Douglas E. Lewis, 61, North Market Street, East Palestine, cited with failure to control.

Tessa Marie Elsass, 34, Camp Boulevard, Hanoverton, was fined $50 for no license.
