LISBON — An aggravated robbery charge in Columbiana County Municipal Court against Ignacio Rios, 26, Berea, was dismissed so it can be presented directly to the grand jury. Rios reportedly robbed an East Palestine man at gunpoint on Sept. 4 when he allegedly came to collect on a drug debt owed to him by William Tondo.

Jakob L. Hendricks, 28, Cherry Street, Washingtonville, was bound over on a possession of drugs charge for allegedly having methamphetamines.

A Dec. 14 preliminary hearing was set for Samuel L. Nemeth, 31, East Fifth Street, Salem, charged with drug abuse, a fifth-degree felony, and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

John M. Poling, 38, Campbell, was fined $100, credited with a day in jail, sentenced to an additional three days in jail and required 15 hours community service for obstructing official business.

A Jan. 18 pretrial was set for Brian C. Dale, 34, Homewood Avenue, Salem, cited with OVI first offense, OVI refusal with prior within 20 years and assured clear distance.

A Jan. 18 pretrial was set for Evan M. Daugherty, 22, New Galilee, Pa., charged with OVI first offense and head lights required.

A Jan. 23 pretrial was set for Winfred E. Young Jr., 34, Knox School Road, Beloit, charged with OVI first offense.

A Dec. 21 pretrial was set for Jason A. Ervine, 35, West Clark Street, East Palestine, cited with driving under suspension.

A Feb. 5 pretrial was set for Cody J. Pierson, 35, Arbor Road, Minerva, cited with possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and open container.

A Feb. 8 pretrial was set for Jacob A. Davis, 26, Mark Road NE, Kensington, cited with possession or use of drug paraphernalia.

Melinda S. Merryman, 29, Gavers Road, Hanoverton, was fined $150 for lighted lights required amended from speeding.
