EAST LIVERPOOL — In Municipal Court Thursday, Charlene A. Makowiecki, 52, Steubenville-Pike Road, Salineville, was fined $475, sentenced to 30 days, 27suspended, had her license suspended one year and was placed on probation three years for OVI. She was fined $250, sentenced to 180 days, 135 suspended, had her license suspended one year and was placed on probation one year for leaving the scene. She was fined $100, each, on charges of reckless operation and failure to yield.

Larry R. Blakeley, 47, Mick Road, Wellsville, was fined $200, sentenced to 30 days, 26 suspended, and placed on probation two years for theft.

A preliminary hearing was set Nov. 30 for Bristen Lavant, 22, Smithfield Street, charged with domestic violence. A motion to amend bond was denied.

Joshua D. Smith, 41, Wintersville, was bound over to Columbiana County Common Pleas Court on a charge of receiving stolen property, with bond reset at $5,000 cash/surety. He is to have no contact with Penny VanKirk and both the state and defense agree the vehicle may be returned to VanKirk.
