LISBON — The Columbiana County Common Pleas Court grand jury issued 11 open indictments and eight secret indictments when it met on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. The secret indictments will be reported as they are served, but the following are the open indictments:
Harold J. Dunlap, 60, Bayard Road, Minerva, is charged with aggravated arson. Dunlap allegedly caused harm to a structure belonging to a neighbor, Mark Logan, on April 16.
Martez D. Hardy, 20, Moore Street, East Liverpool, is charged with escape. While under detention for a domestic violence charge on July 20, Hardy reportedly ran down the street away from police, even as he was being warned to stop or face being charged with escape.
Cortni D. Rankin, 26, Dyke Road, Rogers, is charged with assault for allegedly attacking Justine Bowley on May 30 at the Rogers Sale. Brandy M. Bratt, 27, Bell Road, Lisbon, is charged with complicity to assault for allegedly assisting Rankin in assaulting Bowley.
Steven P. McGrew, 21, Pine Lake Road, Beloit, is charged with tampering with evidence for allegedly swallowing a percocet pill to keep highway patrol troopers from located it when the vehicle was being searched on May 25.
Logan P. Stewart, 22, Jefferson Avenue, Salem, is charged with assault, resisting arrest and obstructing official business. Stewart is accused of refusing to allow troopers to place him in handcuffs or put him into the back of the patrol car. At one point, Stewart allegedly struck Trooper Jarod Paine in the head.
Patrick A. Lattanzio, 28, East North Avenue, East Palestine, is charged with aggravated burglary and falsification. Lattanzio allegedly took a knife to Gilkinson’s Short Stop, Avondale Street, East Liverpool, while robbing the store and then gave a false statement to East Liverpool City police officers in an attempt to mislead them.
Dewayne L. Toothman, 54, Williams Avenue, East Liverpool, is charged with felonious assault for allegedly stabbing Douglas Toothman on Aug. 13.
Steven C. Schneider, 39, Morton Street, East Liverpool, is charged with abusing harmful intoxicants for allegedly huffing from a can on Aug. 2.
Shiquan D. Reed, 21, Washington Street, Wellsville, is charged with domestic violence for allegedly harming Ashlei Conkle by kicking her in the stomach and hitting her multiple times with a broom handle, when he knew she was pregnant at the time of the offense on July 26.
Michael R. Sutton, 23, North 15th Street, Sebring, is charged with improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle after he was allegedly found to have a loaded .357 Ruger revolver on Aug. 10.
