Elizabeth and John Toolis

BADEN, Pa. — Elizabeth Carol Grace Gall became the bride of Lt. John Edward Toolis Oct. 14, 2017 at the Baden United Methodist Church in Baden.

The bride is the daughter of Andy and Tammy Gall, Baden.

The groom is the son of Edward and Susan Toolis, Lisbon.

The Rev. James Young officiated over the double-ring ceremony.

Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a vintage inspired fit and flare floor length gown with a belted waist and illusion lace back with cap sleeves and a v-neck. She carried a bouquet of white and gold silk roses.

Marianna Gall Voytko, Beaver, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor in a navy blue dress. In navy gowns were bridesmaids Kathy Jones, Tampa; Courtney Schkurko, Bay Village; Randi Sacco, Erie, Lisa Frankhouser, Lakewood; Chrissy Ricupero, Venetia; Kayla Whitten, Detroit; Erin Toolis, Santa Cruz, sister of the bride; and Amy Toolis, sister of the bride, Natrona Heights. Rita and Cora Voytko, nieces of the bride, Beaver, served as the flower girls.

Performing the duties of best man was Ben Seidner, Strasburg. Groomsmen were Jon Taggart, Whidbey Island, Wash.; Austin Harrington, Jacksonville, Ohio; Sean Rose, brother-in-law, Santa Cruz; Joe Rouse, brother-in-law, Natrona Heights; A.J. Gall, brother of the bride; Rochester; and James Lehman, Cleveland.

A reception for 150 guests immediately followed at the Beaver Station Cultural and Event Center, Beaver.

The bride graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Ohio Northern University and is employed with the Mitsubishi Corporation.

The groom graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Ohio Northern University. He attended Officer Candidate School at the U.S. Navy, Rhode Island and is currently stationed at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Fla., as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy as a naval aviator.

The couple reside in Jacksonville, Fla.
