DeFilippo — Deane
LISBON — Emmalee Dianne DeFilippo and Stephen Scott Deane were married on April 22, 2017 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Columbus.
The bride is the daughter of Susan Reynolds DeFilippo, Lisbon, and Stephen DeFilippo, Carrollton.
The groom is the son of John and Patricia Deane, Plain City.
Pastor Steve Wachtman officiated the ceremony.
The bride wore an ivory gown with lace overlay accompanied by a floor-length veil, her maternal great-grandmother’s cameo necklace and sister’s sapphire earrings. She carried a bouquet of white and purple ranunculus, white lisianthus and flowering eucalyptus with trailing ribbon.
Jessica Warren, sister of the bride, Round Rock, Texas; served as matron of honor in an off-the-shoulder, violet gown. In violet, Grecian-inspired matching gowns were bridemaids Morgan Dailey, Lisbon; Brittni Gladysz, McComb; and Sarah Majoris, Columbus. Alexis White, cousin of the groom, served as flower girl.
Performing duties as best man was Christopher Deane, brother of the groom, Chicago. Groomsmen were Michael Deane, Orlando, and Kevin Deane, Boston, brothers of the groom; Dominic DeFilippo, brother of the bride, Negley. Acting as ushers were Patrick Sonnenberg, Fort Benning; and Sean Ostrander, Chicago. Jacob Warren, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearer.
A reception of 150 guests followed at Station 67 in Columbus.
The bride received a bachelor’s degree in strategic communication from The Ohio State University and currently works as a copy writer for Abbott Nutrition.
The groom received a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Arizona and currently acts as manager of payroll for Nationwide Insurance.
