Wiley — Messerschmidt
CANFIELD — Caitlin E. Wiley and Greg H. Messerschmidt were married Oct. 15 at the Canfield Presbyterian Church.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Doug and Beth Wiley of Leetonia. The groom is the son of Mike and Beth Messerschmidt of Marshalltown, Iowa.
Pastor Larry Bowald of Canfield Presbyterian Church and Pastor Sean Kelly of Greenford Christian Church officiated the afternoon ceremony.
The bride was escorted by her father and wore a beaded lace V-neck dress and her favorite cowboy boots. Aimee Clay, college friend of the bride, served as best woman. College friends Natalie Anderson, Katie Betts and Jess Campbell also served as bridesmaids.
Mark Messerschmidt, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jared Garoutte and Joel Walter, friends of the groom; and Andrew Wiley, brother of the bride and friend of the groom.
Ushers for the ceremony were Cooper Wiley, brother of the bride, and Mark Janssen, brother-in-law of the groom.
Flower girls were Maeve and Jorja Janssen, nieces of the groom. Lane Campbell, son of Jess Campbell, served as ring bearer.
A country reception at Salem Saxon Club followed the wedding ceremony.
The bride completed her Bachelor of Animal Science and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University. The groom completed his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Studies at Iowa State University.
The couple currently reside in Kelley, Iowa.
