Toolis — Rouse
LISBON — Amy Liane Toolis and Joseph Lee Rouse were united in marriage July 8 in an outdoor ceremony at the Hyeholde Restaurant in Coraopolis, Pa.
The bride is the daughter of Ed and Susan Toolis, Lisbon.
The groom is the son of Jerry and Rita Boocks, Shippenville, Pa.
The Rev. Larry Goyda officiated the ceremony.
The bride wore a strapless ivory lace gown with a sweep length train embellished with a pearl sash as well as her maternal grandmother’s pearl necklace and bracelet. She carried a bouquet of daisies, asters, roses and liatris.
Erin Toolis, Santa Cruz, Calif., served of matron of honor, in a teal gown. In teal and fuschia gowns were bridesmaids Magi Jobb, daughter of the groom, Jefferson; Helyne Joseph, San Diego; and Alycia Lewand, Pittsburgh.
Performing duties as best man was Dave Space, Clarion. Groomsmen were Chad Klingler, Knox; John Toolis, brother of the bride, Jacksonville, Fla.; and Adam Meehan, Charleston, S.C. Christopher Campbell, nephew of the groom, Shippenville, served as the ring bearer.
A reception for 100 guests followed at Hyeholde Restaurant.
The bride received a B.A. in chemistry at the College of Wooster and is a research chemist at PPG Industries, Allison Park, Pa.
The groom received his welding certificate from Triangle Tech and is a fabrication welder at Heritage Industries, Blawnox, Pa. and is owner of R and T Welding and Fabrication, LLC.
After a honeymoon to Florida, they couple reside in Natrona Heights, Pa.
