POLAND – Ashley Lombardozzi and Matthew Grope, Poland, were united in marriage 2 p.m. Sept. 26 at Julia’s Bed and Breakfast, Hubbard.

The bride is a daughter of Paula Byerly of Tipp City and Anthony Lombardozzi of Wellsville.

The groom is the son of Gary and Colleen Grope of Boardman.

The Rev. Kathryn Adams officiated the ceremony.

A beaded sweetheart neckline highlighted the bride’s ivory gown styled in a mermaid silhouette.

Matron of honor was Katie Weisz, friend of the bride and maid of honor was Antonia Lombardozzi, the bride’s sister. Bridesmaids were Jessica Benedetto, cousin of the bride; Allison Grope, sister-in-law of the groom; Ayla Gorby, the bride’s sister; and Erin Finocchi, Hope Thrasher, Cara Cupler, Cara Thomas, Trang Nguyen and Kristen DeSarro. Flower girls were Rylee Brown, Emma Gorby and Zury Gorby, nieces of the bride, and Cecelia Grope, the groom’s niece. The attendants wore eggplant-colored dresses.

Sharing the duties of best man were George Finocchi, friend of the groom and Christopher Grope, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Brandon Grope, Jarrett Grope, brothers of the groom; Nunzio Lombardozzi, brother of the bride; and Dave Pasarelli, Rich Lett, Ed Mansour, Jerry Ferrell, John Cowher Jr. and Mike Bowen. Ring bearers were Jonathan Grope, the groom’s nephew, and Bentley Lomdardozzi, the bride’s nephew.

The newlyweds were honored at a reception at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center in Boardman.

The couple earned bachelor’s degrees from Youngstown State University and work at Medsys Consulting Inc. in Boardman.

Mrs. Grope studied business administration and is a medical biller and credentialer.

Mr. Grope studied information technology and is an IT manager.

Following a honeymoon to Cabo San Lucas Mexico, the couple resides in Poland.
