Jennifer Bellanca weds Thomas Oeschger

PITTSBURGH – Jennifer Renee Bellanca and Thomas Gordon Oeschger were united in marriage on June 22, 2013. The Rev. Mike Caridi officiated the marriage at St. Louise de Marillac Church in Pittsburgh.

The bride is the daughter of Pete and Kathy Bellanca of Wellsville. She wore an ivory colored Couture gown with a scoop neckline. She carried a bouquet of light pink peonies.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Serving as matron of honor cousin, Melissa Sperber. Bridesmaids included sister-in-law of the groom, Amy Oeschger; and friends of the bride Julie Lowe, Dani Pash, Alanna Seamon, and Paula Wittekind. The flower girl was Violet Rizer, cousin of the bride. The bridal party wore black floor length gowns organza gowns with sweetheart necklines.

Parents of the bridegroom are Gordon and Janis Oeschger of Chester Springs, Pa. The best men were his brothers, Mike and Tim Oeschger. His groomsmen included cousin of the groom, Dave Oeschger; and brothers of the bride John Bellanca, Joe Bellanca, and Petie Bellanca. The ring bearer was Linus Rizer, cousin of the bride.

A reception was held at Bella Sera in Canonsburg, Pa., following the ceremony. The newlyweds honeymooned in Jamaica.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Beaver Local High School. She completed her education at Youngstown State University and is a talent acquisition specialist.

The groom is a 2001 graduate of Highlands Ranch High School. He completed his education at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and is a graphic designer.

The newlyweds reside in Pittsburgh.
