Sheri Wherry weds Tom Egli

HOMEWORTH – Sheri Wherry became the bride of Tom Egli on June 22 during a backyard ceremony at the couple’s home.

The bride is the daughter of Carole and Earl Smith, Salem.

The groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Egli.

Pastor Richard Brend-linger officiated at the 4:30 p.m. ceremony.

Escorted by her son, Michael Wherry, Dayton, the bride wore a champagne colored satin gown with embroidery and a gathered bodice. She also wore pearl and rhinestone tiara. She carried a bouquet of daisies, red roses, and babies breath.

Attendants were the couple’s 15 grandchildren.

A family dinner followed the ceremony.

The bride is employed as an LPN at Salem Community Hospital.

The groom is employed as a truck driver for Vasco Company.

After a honeymoon to Niagara Falls, the couple reside in Homeworth.
