Lisbon couple marks 60th year
LISBON — Mary and Ken Everett, Lisbon, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house, hosted by their family, from 2-4 p.m. April 14 at the First United Methodist Church.
The former Mary Davis married Ken Everett April 9, 1958 at the Salineville Methodist Church. The Rev. Thomas Hammerton, assisted by Rev. William Buell, officiated the ceremony.
Mrs. Everett was the practice accompanist for the Lisbon Minstrels and the Community Chorus and retired as the organist at the Lisbon First United Methodist Church. She is currently active in the church and the Lisbon Music Study Club.
Mr. Everett retired from MTI Inc. in Alliance as the Senior Code Coordinator, Design Engineering. He currently volunteers at the Lisbon Historical Society and the Columbiana Archives and Research Center.
The couple has four children, Doug (Kathleen) Everett, Beth (Steve) Trace, Barabara (Michael) Ruggiero and Bill (Julie) Everett, six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and a step-great-granddaughter.
The couple asks that gifts be omitted.
