Golden year for ELO couple

EAST LIVERPOOL – Bill and Judy Kidder celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 15 with a family gathering at their East Liverpool home.

The former Judith Erickson, daughter of Donald and Helen Dieter, and William Kidder Jr., son of William and Marcella Kidder Sr., were married on June 15, 1963, at Ohltown Methodist Church in Austintown.

Mr. Kidder is retired from the Columbiana County Engineer Department.

Mrs. Kidder is currently employed as a grief counselor at Dawson Funeral Home. She is active in the United Methodist Women and United Methodist Church.

The couple have three children, Laura (Steven) Swain, Rolling Prairie, Ind.; Dean (Ruth) Kidder and Michael (Nancy) Kidder, both of East Liverpool; nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren

Golden year for ELO couple

EAST LIVERPOOL – Ed and Charlene Rayl, East Liverpool, will celebrate their 50th anniversary on June 8.

The couple were married on June 8, 1963 at St. Aloysius Church by Father Cunningham. Ron Burns and Jane Shuffert Topper served as best man and maid of honor.

Mr. Rayl retired after 40 years as a steelworker.

Mrs. Rayl worked at K-mart and Nationwide Insurance.

They have three sons, Doug Rayl, East Liverpool; Eddie Rayl, Columbiana; and the late Thomas James “T.J.” Rayle. They also have five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
