Election officials predicting a turnout of 30 or below for today’s primary election
LISBON — Election officials gave two predictions for voter turnout for today’s primary election, with one saying 30 percent and the other giving a range of 25 to 35 percent. Either way, they’re not expecting as many as the 2016 presidential primary when the turnout was 43 percent. The polls open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m. today, with 73 precincts ready for voters in 53 polling locations throughout Columbiana County.
